Using scatter charts – part 3
In the previous two posts (Part 1 and Part 2) about using scatter charts I tried to give some interesting use cases for how and when to use them. Next to that I wanted to give some insight in how to design these charts for a better user experience. In this post I wanted to reveal something different that can be done with scatter charts… Using it for animation (this because ‘motion‘ is one of the principles you could use) and visualizing sports activities on a map.
I also recently showed another example of telling stories with infographics based on this same data. An example of what this post will bring:
This time I won’t bother you guys with writing down all the steps which are necessary to come up with an example like this.
